Facilities Mechanic
Join us in developing pioneering therapies that aim to transform the treatment of CKD and change patients’ lives. Our technology is designed to treat diseased kidneys using a patient’s own cells and may prevent or delay dialysis or transplant.
- Conduct maintenance work in accordance with site Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain facility equipment and utilities.
- Document maintenance activities using site Work Order process / equipment specific logbooks.
- Diagnoses problems with equipment and makes necessary repairs.
- Completes assign PM tasks listed in Master PM Schedule.
- Maintain utilities environmental equipment that supports Manufacturing, Quality Control, R&D and Office area.
- Utilize PPE, follows Lockout Tagout procedures, OSHA standards, NEC, NFPA, etc. when performing required maintenance.
- Provide oversight and supervision of outside contractors.
- Follow cGMP procedures established by the site e.g. Change Control, Deviation, CAPA, etc.
- Write equipment procedures / forms as needed.
- Maintains Work Orders / Documentation in Equipment History Files.
- Write Purchase Orders in PO System as needed.
- Provide on-call services when scheduled.
- Maintain gowning qualified for work within Manufacturing Clean Rooms.

Education/Training |
Associate or technical degree / certification or appropriate OTG training |
Experience |
3+ years’ experience performing preventive maintenance / repairs of Utility equipment. Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices is preferred. |
Skills/Abilities |
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Good computer skills. Ability to lift/carry 30 lbs. |
