The Role: Global Account Manager - Telco

We are looking for a hunter-minded and strategic sales expert to drive our expansion to/with a top French telco customer across EMEA, focusing on developing markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, while also maintaining and expanding business with existing entities at our customers' headquarters. As a Global Account Manager (GAM), you will drive business growth by developing and executing a sell-to and sell-with strategy within key telco accounts. This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-value global accounts, close large contracts, and accelerate market share in the telco industry.

Your Impact:

  • Expand Pure Storage’s footprint by identifying and securing new revenue opportunities within large telco organizations.
  • Build and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for key accounts across EMEA.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing entities at customer headquarters.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, engaging with C-level executives, technical stakeholders, and global decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with channel partners, telco service providers, and internal teams to drive revenue growth and alignment.
  • Leverage market insights to develop tailored go-to-market strategies for telco cloud and infrastructure solutions.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, strategic account plans, and revenue-driving initiatives.

What You Bring:

  • Proven track record in enterprise/global account sales within the telecom industry.
  • Experience selling as-a-service and data infrastructure solutions, with strong preference for candidates with a background in cloud and enterprise service platforms.
  • Ability to hunt and grow strategic telco accounts, exceeding quota and revenue targets.
  • Expertise in navigating complex sales cycles, managing RFPs, and closing large contracts (€5M-€10M+).
  • Strong ability to engage C-level executives, technology leaders, and global operations teams.
  • Deep knowledge of the telco ecosystem, including service providers, ICT trends, and network operations.
  • Fluency in French (native/bilingual) and English (professional-level).
