Senior Tax Analyst - Domestic Tax (US)

THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Tax Analyst to join our U.S. Domestic Tax team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Domestic and Global Tax Provision. This role plays a key part in supporting the company’s global tax provision and U.S. income tax compliance processes, while also driving process improvements and automation initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Play a key role in the quarterly and annual global tax provision (ASC 740), including preparation, analysis, and documentation supporting 10-Q and 10-K reporting
- Support U.S. federal, state, and local income tax compliance, including:
- Prepare and review quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions
- Preparing and reviewing tax workpapers
- Coordinating closely with external advisors
- Performing initial review of corporate tax returns
- Ensure timely and accurate filings and payments across all relevant jurisdictions
- Partner cross-functionally to gather, validate, and analyze data for tax reporting and compliance
- Support R&D tax credit calculations and documentation, partnering with internal stakeholders and external specialists
- Monitor and execute on SOX controls related to income tax processes
- Assist with IRS and state audits, including information gathering and response coordination
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities, leveraging tools such as Alteryx and advanced Excel
- Contribute to special projects, including process scaling, system enhancements, and technical tax analysis
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master’s degree in Taxation preferred but not required
- 4+ years of public accounting or private corporate tax experience, experience with multinational publicly traded companies a plus
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. corporate income tax compliance
- Experience preparing or reviewing tax provisions and Forms 10-Q / 10-K disclosures
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and interpret complex tax issues
- Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy and quality
- Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and scalability
- Knowledge of using Alteryx, NetSuite, SAP, and Zuora is a plus

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is:
$114,000 - $171,000 USD
