THE ROLE
 
We are seeking an entry–mid level IT Support Technician based at our Carney's Point, NJ warehouse location to join our growing technology operations team. This role is crucial for supporting Quince’s warehouse and logistics IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth, reliable, and efficient day-to-day operations for our distribution center staff.We’re more than just a warehouse—we’re a team committed to challenging the status quo in retail. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1/2 technical support specifically tailored to the warehouse and distribution center environment, resolving issues with scanners, mobile devices, printers (label and thermal), tablets, and specialized warehouse technology.
  • Manage IT support for warehouse-specific systems, including WMS (Warehouse Management System) client access, inventory applications, and shop floor/dock equipment.
  • Oversee IT asset lifecycle for all warehouse devices—procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning of warehouse hardware (e.g., handheld scanners, forklifts terminals, specialized printers).
  • Maintain and troubleshoot local network connectivity, ensuring robust Wi-Fi coverage across the entire facility to support critical warehouse operations.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding for warehouse staff from an IT perspective—account setup, hardware configuration, and access provisioning for operational systems.
  • Handle user access provisioning and de-provisioning across core business systems (Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, WMS, etc.).
  • Maintain and document IT processes, inventory records, and access control logs in line with company standards, with a focus on warehouse compliance.
  • Support office and warehouse technology operations, including network troubleshooting, printer setup, and AV maintenance for training rooms.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on warehouse efficiency, such as process automation and IT system enhancements.
Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2–4 years of IT support experience, with a focus on operations, logistics, or distribution environments.
  • Prior experience in a corporate or fast-paced startup environment supporting on-site operational/warehouse teams.
  • (Preferred) Experience in retail, e-commerce, or technology industries with high-volume logistics.
Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Android operating systems common on warehouse devices.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Okta, and Slack administration.
  • Familiarity with asset management tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow).
  • Hands-on experience supporting scanners, label printers, and mobile devices in a warehouse setting.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts—Wi-Fi troubleshooting, VPN, switches, and firewalls, with an emphasis on large-scale industrial Wi-Fi deployment.
  • Awareness of data security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001).
  • (Preferred) Hands-on experience or working knowledge of MDM tools.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, especially under pressure in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical operational staff.
  • Ability to prioritize urgent operational requests and manage multiple support tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating across global teams.

All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.

Pay Range

$62,000 - $77,000 USD
