Analyst - Business Operations

Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India. 

We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital). 

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled operations analyst who will be instrumental in driving the performance of our sales team by building and maintaining dashboards, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights. This role will support sales processes, track key metrics, and manage operational tasks, playing a critical role in helping the sales team achieve its targets and deliver customer satisfaction.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Sales Data Analysis & Insights:
    • Create, maintain, and update sales dashboards using Google Sheets / Excel to provide performance insights.
    • Track and analyze key sales metrics such as conversion percentages, churn rates, and customer engagement trends.
    • Generate actionable insights to support sales leadership in decision-making and strategy development.
  • Operational Support:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to monitor the onboarding process and ensure timely resolution of onboarding tickets.
    • Track and manage sales funnel data to identify potential bottlenecks and optimize lead-to-customer conversions.
  • Financial Process Management:
    • Generate and manage payment links, ensuring seamless customer transactions.
    • Coordinate with the finance team to process manual invoices for customers who complete payments through non-standard channels.
  • Tool Proficiency & Data Management:
    • Use Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, and other reporting tools to manage data, generate reports, and extract insights.
    • Regularly update and maintain data integrity across all tools to support accurate and up-to-date reporting.

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Looker or Tableau for reporting and data extraction.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make recommendations.
  • Experience in sales operations, sales support, or a similar role where data analysis and reporting were key functions.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and resolve discrepancies in billing processes.
