Product Ops Specialist

In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital). 

As a Product Operations Specialist in the Risk, Trust & Safety team, you will be the key link between internal operations and product teams, ensuring smooth issue resolution, configuration management, and operational efficiency. Your role will focus on maintaining product configurations, analyzing merchant issues, and identifying automation opportunities to enhance risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Configuration Management: Maintain and manage product configurations and create SOPs for configuration changes, etc. helping the Risk operations team deploy new risk measures faster.
  • Operational Support: Act as the primary point of contact for internal operations teams regarding product issues, change requests and help get the issues addressed with tech support/respective teams.
  • Data analysis: Analyze customer tickets to identify patterns and root causes, collaborating with product teams to address recurring issues.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
  • Issue Tracking & Prioritization: Monitor ongoing product issues, work with product managers to triage them, and help prioritize fixes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in a product support role or an operations/business analyst.
  • Data Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets; working knowledge of SQL for data analysis.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Quick learner who can understand operational processes and SOPs and develop domain expertise to address the 
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to track, document, and follow through on multiple tasks systematically.
