Senior Manager - Enterprise Sales
Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.
The Role:
Lead a high-performing sales team to identify, engage, and onboard new high-value clients, driving business growth and expanding Razorpay’s market presence for online payment gateway business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of high-performing hunters to drive new business acquisition.
- Set clear performance expectations, define sales targets, and ensure the team meets or exceeds them.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire high-value clients.
2. New Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closure.
- Guide the team in identifying high-potential clients, executing strategic outreach, and conducting compelling sales pitches.
- Work with internal stakeholders (banking, product, solutions etc) to create customized payment solutions for potential clients.
3. Process Optimization & CRM Management
- Track and analyze key sales metrics to optimize team performance and improve conversion rates.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and deal status.
- Enhance team efficiency by implementing best practices in sales processes, outreach, and negotiations.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the voice of the customer, providing market insights to product and leadership teams for product enhancements.
- Represent Razorpay in industry events, networking opportunities, and strategic meetings with key stakeholders.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, business development, or new client acquisition in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise tech.
- Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing sales teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong experience in hunting, negotiating, and closing large enterprise deals.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM tools, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Go-getter attitude with the ability to work independently and drive results.
