Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to design and orchestrate the technical foundations that power our AI first products and solutions. This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, data, product, platform, and healthcare ecosystem integrations—ensuring that our systems are scalable, compliant, and capable of delivering seamless experiences across channels.
You will lead architectural design for AI-driven workflows, multi-channel engagement platforms, data and ML pipelines, and enterprise integrations supporting patient, provider, and commercial use cases. This role requires strong systems thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of how to align technical architecture with business and healthcare requirements. This role sits in our AI organization and will report to the Chief AI Products and Solutions Officer.
Key Responsibilities
AI Systems & Intelligent Workflow Architecture

Design solution architectures that support AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, RAG frameworks, and contextual automation – built on modular, microservices, API, headless first principles.

Map out AI lifecycle components—intake, data preparation, model access, inference workflows, and human-in-the-loop production systems.

Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, explainable, and designed with responsible AI principles.
Healthcare Systems & Data Architecture

Design architectures that support healthcare data types (clinical, claims, EHR, provider/patient/payor data).

Ensure solutions adhere to healthcare regulatory requirements including HIPAA, PHI protections, auditability, and access controls.

Map system dependencies across healthcare data sources, identity systems, analytics platforms, and communication channels.
Cross-Functional Solution Alignment

Serve as the technical partner for product, engineering, design, data science, compliance, and delivery teams.

Translate business and healthcare requirements into clear technical designs and documentation.

Identify dependencies, risks, and sequencing needs early in the planning process.

Ensure new functionality aligns with the broader architectural blueprint for the AI platform.
Technical Roadmapping & Standards

Contribute to long-term roadmaps for AI platform capabilities, integration frameworks, and compliance infrastructure.

Define architectural guardrails and best practices for AI-enabled systems.

Evaluate emerging technologies across AI, healthcare, and omnichannel ecosystems.
Execution Support & Quality Assurance

Participate in design reviews, technical deep dives, and cross-functional planning.

Provide architectural oversight during development to ensure alignment with design intent.

Identify performance, security, or scalability risks and guide teams toward solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

10+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or technical leadership.
-
Experience supporting AI/ML-driven platforms, healthcare systems, or omnichannel enterprise architectures strongly preferred.
Technical Skills

Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, integration layers, data flows, and platform services.

Familiarity with AI/ML workflows (model hosting, inference pipelines, data pipelines).

Understanding of healthcare data standards, privacy frameworks, and regulatory constraints (HIPAA, PHI).

Knowledge of systems that support omnichannel interactions—CRM, CDP, marketing automation, conversational platforms, mobile/web stacks.
Soft Skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Strong systems thinker who anticipates downstream impacts and cross-team dependencies.

Highly collaborative and effective at influencing alignment across complex environments.

Comfortable operating in fast-paced AI and healthcare landscapes.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI agent systems, RAG pipelines, or orchestration frameworks.

Experience integrating healthcare data with analytics, reporting, or engagement platforms.

Experience supporting multi-team engineering organizations and cross-functional initiatives.

Posting Salary
$200,000 - $235,000 USD

Working with Real HART: Since the pandemic, we have adapted to how our people told us they want to work. We have office locations in cities in the US, UK, and Europe with many employees and clients that serve as hubs where and when they need us. For employees who are within an hour of one of our offices, we expect attendance in the office two days per week, either at a Real Chemistry office or onsite with clients. We are also actively opening new office locations, so if one opens near you, our Real HART policy will apply. We are not looking for attendance for the sake of attendance but believe that the opportunity to coordinate in-office team meetings, 1:1 meetings with managers, taking advantage of on-site learning, and connecting with client partners is a critical to delivering on our purpose of making healthcare what it should be.
