Business Intelligence Manager

As the Business Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of daily operations with an emphasis on analytics and reporting. You will manage a team of analysts and assist in reporting, analysis, and forecasting across all aspects of the business including finance, fraud, CRM Management, VIP management, and more.

This position works closely with internal and external stake holders. You will report to, and work closely with, the Director of Business Intelligence, and other subject matter experts. You will manage a team of analysts and help scale the department. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a reporting infrastructure. Understand that reporting needs are different for each product, jurisdiction, and team
  • Analyze and suggest strategies for marketing, CRM, operations, VIP team, and the overall business
  • Provide analytics based on segmentations. Apply predictive models to segmentations and give insights to key stake holders
  • Constantly measure KPIs and work with the Marketing and Operations teams to optimize in an efficient and tactical manner
  • Analyze ROI of internal and external efforts. Provide immediate reporting to enable quick decisions to increase profitability and effectiveness
  • Create visualizations and dashboards to report real time metrics
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to ensure proper data architecture
  • Manage a BI and analytics team. Ensure data accuracy and instill analytical best practices
  • Deliver and present information on an ongoing basis, both ad hoc and per request
  • Act as a mentor to analysts and provide knowledge on data analysis efficiencies

Job Requirements:

  • BA in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related field
  • 1–2 years leadership experience in casino or sportsbook verticals
  • 3 years experience in gaming, financial and/or operational analysis required
  • Ability to think and work independently while supporting multiple areas and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Strong data programing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Expert ability with relational database, SQL knowledge required
  • Experience with data modeling, data science, statistical analysis, and predictive algorithms
  • Strong proficiency in various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), with expert understanding of Excel
  • Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
  • Ability to travel
  • Constant sitting, use of computer/keyboarding; frequent walking, standing; some kneeling, twisting bending and lifting.
  • Spanish speaking is not required but a plus
