Facilities Engineer - (Full-Time, AM Shift)
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Facilities Engineer, you are responsible for conducting preventative and corrective work to support the facility center’s operations of the power plant and infrastructure equipment, including mechanical equipment, boilers, co-generator engines, chillers, and emergency generators. You will review construction and remodeling projects and contracted mechanical work for code compliance and compatibility with existing mechanical and electrical systems. This role oversees the monitoring of automated facility systems, including tube transport, fire alarm systems, elevators, and medical gas systems, and works collaboratively with other trades to complete required tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect and service facility utility equipment and systems; keep the designated Facilities Services Manager informed of infrastructure needs or required changes to maintain safe and reliable operations.
Coordinate the preventative maintenance program for all utility and infrastructure systems, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, medical gas systems, water treatment programs, water distribution systems, building management systems, emergency generators, and associated components.
Monitor and modify preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum effectiveness and provide all required documentation.
Work with other divisions and departments to meet infrastructure and utility maintenance, installation, and construction needs; negotiate priorities, plan work schedules, and assign job tasks.
Recommend the use of outside mechanical and utility specialty contractors as appropriate.
Oversee and monitor outside mechanical and utility specialty contractors to ensure compliance with established healthcare standards.
Schedule and monitor maintenance repair work, alterations, and renovation upgrades to facility infrastructure systems.
Oversee infrastructure construction, installation, and commissioning activities to ensure system integrity and compliance.
Instruct personnel regarding infrastructure and utility hazards and provide training, guidance, and oversight for safe equipment operation.
Coordinate infrastructure parts, materials, and supplies within budgetary constraints; maintain replacement schedules and capital equipment records.
Determine department specifications for infrastructure and utility system components.
Review materials and installations during construction and remodeling projects to ensure quality and compliance.
Maintain records to ensure compliance with all applicable Authorities Having Jurisdiction, including local, state, and federal regulatory codes.
Attend required code compliance and regulatory update trainings.
Perform all duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and professional standards.
Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating organizational core and leadership behaviors.
Work independently under general supervision while interacting with staff, patients, physicians, visitors, regulatory agencies, inspectors, contractors, and vendors.
May oversee the work of staff and/or vendors as required.
JOB DETAILS
Pay Rate: $37.49 per hour
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Shift Schedule: AM | 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Days Off: Sunday & Monday
Working Days: Tuesday through Saturday
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of three (3) years of diversified experience as a plant mechanic, stationary engineer, boiler operator, refrigeration mechanic, or related field with demonstrated advanced skills in plant operations.
Working knowledge and certification as required under applicable regulatory codes and state and local building codes.
Strong knowledge of utility and infrastructure systems common to the healthcare environment.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.
Ability to work safely and effectively with infrastructure and utility equipment.
Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification may be required.
Ability to read and interpret maintenance and construction documents.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in common office software programs.
A valid driver’s license may be required depending on department needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Previous construction experience preferred.
Three to five (3–5) years of healthcare Facilities Services experience preferred.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Ability to stand, climb, stoop, and bend frequently; position requires considerable physical activity.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to push carts and dollies weighing up to 500 pounds using proper body mechanics.

Accounting Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
As an Accounting Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in maintaining the organization’s financial integrity by overseeing core accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, payroll accounting, and regulatory compliance. You will partner closely with the Controller and Finance leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting across a multi-entity, fund-accounting environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to drive process improvements within a mission-driven organization supporting healthcare and senior services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and manage the full month-end close process, ensuring all journal entries, accruals, and financial statements are completed accurately and within established timelines.• Oversee and review general ledger activity, ensuring proper coding, accuracy, and compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.• Perform and review complex account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, intercompany, and sub-ledger), ensuring discrepancies are identified, researched, and resolved promptly.• Manage all aspects of payroll accounting, including reconciliation of payroll reports to the general ledger, tracking of liabilities, and ensuring accuracy of wages, taxes, and benefit allocations.• Administer and oversee employee garnishments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, proper withholding, and accurate reporting.• Partner with HR and Payroll teams to ensure alignment between payroll processing and financial reporting, including audits of payroll data and controls.• Support audit processes (internal and external), including preparation of schedules, documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries.• Ensure compliance with fund accounting standards, grant reporting requirements, and healthcare-related financial regulations.• Develop, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or operational improvements.• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management to build a high-performing team.• Collaborate cross-functionally with department leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including nonprofit and healthcare financial reporting standards.• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Controller or senior leadership.
