Position Overview

Saylor is looking for a Production Coordinator who is comfortable and eager to work on a high volume account. Our ideal candidate is extremely organized, works well under pressure, has the ability to make quick pivots, is quick to call out issues and help find solutions, and is willing to jump into a variety of tasks handed to them. The Production Coordinator  will be responsible for supporting the Producer in the planning, coordination, and execution of various social media assets for one particular account. You will work closely with Producers on management of asset creation and  assist with client communication as needed to ensure that assets for the account are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

Location and Salary

This is a full-time, exempt role based in Los Angeles with a salary range of $50,000-$80,000 depending on experience. There will be occasions when in-office presence, at either our Echo Park HQ or a client’s office, is required based on the needs of specific accounts. 

Responsibilites

1). Project Management:

Assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating all phases of content production, including ideation, pre-production, production, and post-production, and keeping the project management trackers as up to date as possible. Keeps the internal team as up to date as possible on the status of all assets. Sends a hot sheet at the top of each day with these updates and prepares all agendas for internal meetings including weekly syncs, working sessions; takes and consolidates all notes from client meetings for the team.

2). Task/Ticket Management:

Create new tasks and tickets in Saylor’s internal project management tool (Asana), then keep asset tickets up to date based on asset status from creation to completion. Simultaneously maintaining  any client facing project management tools for status of assets in production and making sure all information is accurate based on our internal tracker. Work with the asset manager/AE to make sure all necessary titles are being requested in a timely manner and title tracker is up to date.


3). Timeline Management:

Develop and maintain detailed work back schedules for assets ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines. Monitor and update progress regularly as priorities shift. Set daily priorities and adjust asset timelines accordingly based on client needs, specifically around reactive and quick turn requests.

4). Client Liason:

Assist Producers with daily client communication, which includes but is not limited to: sending versions of cuts and working files, keeping clients up to date on work back schedules and changes, consolidating feedback, managing client meetings and  taking notes during client meetings.


5). Quality Control:

Maintaining high-quality standards, reviewing work to ensure it meets both Saylor and client expectations. This includes checking deliverables for accuracy, relevance, and overall excellence.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a production, project management, or operations role within a creative agency, marketing firm, or media production environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to track project progress with accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick pivots based on changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience supporting creative production processes, including asset management, timelines, and approvals.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges, flag potential roadblocks early, and proactively suggest solutions.
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines and adapting to last-minute client requests or feedback.
  • Knowledge of project management tools like Asana strongly preferred.
