Lead Game Social Designer - Monopoly GO!
Scopely is looking for a Lead Game “Social” Designer to serve on and elevate our new game Monopoly Go! This is an on-site role based in Seville, Spain on a hybrid basis.
Any past experience in any mobile game genre or PC games are welcomed as long as you bring deep expertise in social features.

What We're Looking For
- Design engaging player interactions by developing systems and mechanics that foster meaningful connections between players.
- Enhance social connectivity by creating innovative features that encourage players to connect and interact.
- Conceptualize and implement friendship systems that build and reward in-game friendships, promoting ongoing engagement and social bonding
- Foster community growth: Build mechanics and features that encourage the formation of vibrant in-game communities.
- Encourage cooperative gameplay: Design multiplayer and co-op features that enable players to work together and share memorable experiences
- Support retention through social engagement: Drive player retention by integrating social dynamics that inspire players to return and interact regularly
- Balance competition and collaboration: Create game elements that allow for friendly competition while strengthening bonds through cooperative interactions
What You'll Do
- Deeply analyze and understand player data and feedback to advise design choices
- Maintain a Product Owner attitude, ensuring all designs align with player needs, franchise strategy, and business objectives
- Utilize your creative skills to develop innovative features and generate valuable insights
- Translate high-level concepts into detailed and actionable game design plans
- Build comprehensive game design documentation including feature specifications, user flows, and prototypes
- Continuously update working feature specs to maintain clarity and precision, ensuring they are accessible to the entire development team
- Stay abreast of market trends and processes to improve our game design and introduce fresh ideas
- Work closely with Art, UX and Product teams to maintain a cohesive visual style and identity across game features
- Partner with UI artists to craft clear, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces
- Collaborate with artists, technical artists, and engineers to refine and optimize the design implementation process
