As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Strategic Sales & Analytics (SSNA) Ninja Lead to join our French team. The position is based in our central Paris office.
Overview:
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Strategic Sales & Analytics (SSNA) Lead to join our French team. This position is based in our central Paris office and will play a key leadership role within the Strategic Sales and Analytics organization. Reporting to the SSNA Ninja Director, the SSNA Lead will be responsible for delivering data-driven insights, managing market strategy, overseeing pricing and promotions recommendations, and ensuring business health tracking across key retail accounts in France. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, strategic team member who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
What You'll Do:
Market & Category Strategy:
- Act as the category expert, monitoring market trends, pricing strategies, promotional impacts, and competitive positioning.
- Ensure the brand is winning share and never giving it back by proactively addressing category performance gaps.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven category strategies that drive increased distribution, space, and displays.
- Provide real-time analysis of point-of-sale (POS) data to facilitate rapid decision-making and strategic adjustments.
Business Performance:
- Lead financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis, to assess business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to enhance visibility into key financial and commercial performance metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment on strategic priorities.
- Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Strategic Sales Analytics & Reporting:
- Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly analytics reports tracking business performance, category trends, and key financial metrics.
- Analyze market opportunities, identifying category gaps and competitive risks to inform strategic decision-making.
- Present actionable insights based on internal and external data, aligning major initiatives across the organization.
- Manage the Master Event Calendar for the French market, ensuring seamless coordination of retail initiatives.
- Evaluate pre- and post-promotion performance to quantify impact and drive effective retail strategies.
- Track and measure key performance indicators, including promotional lift, pricing elasticity, and sales results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and R&D.
- Ensure alignment and coordination across departments to achieve category goals.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Advanced Analytics degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in a strategic sales, category management, or business analytics role.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into business strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools (BI tools experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying market threats and opportunities.
