Product Manager, POS Clients

Shift4 is seeking a Product Manager - Point of Sale (POS) / Front of House to guide our journey forward. In this exciting role, you will be pivotal in the growth of our core POS experiences and will drive the evolution of SkyTab for the full service market, ensuring flexible, mature, and user-friendly experiences. Collaborating closely with the Product Management team, dedicated engineers, and designers, you will take ownership in this key area within SkyTab POS, to successfully drive our objectives of portfolio consolidation and best in class merchant experience to success. You will be responsible for measuring success by defining key metrics that show a positive impact to our merchants experiences, as well as providing insightful progress reports to our Product leadership team. This role is a hybrid position based at any of the following Shift4 locations: Morrisville, NC, Tampa, FL, Atlanta, GA or Center Valley, PA. Relocation assistance may be provided.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Product Ownership: Execute a comprehensive product strategy as defined by Product leadership for full service operations. Define the business objectives, definition of success and identify key metrics to support this. 
  • User Experience (UX) Design: Prioritize user experience by incorporating customer feedback and usability testing to create intuitive and efficient POS interfaces and workflows.
  • Product Development: Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality releases of POS features and enhancements.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and feedback analysis to gain insights into user behavior, preferences, and pain points. Use data-driven insights to inform design decisions and product improvements, and iterate on features and designs based on user feedback.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of product development processes, including Agile methodologies. Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and operations to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the product development process. Serve as the primary advocate for the user and drive cross-functional initiatives to deliver mature POS capabilities.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 2 years (min) experience in product management roles, with a focus on point of sale, related technologies and POS UX/UI design.
  • Experience with point of sale applications specific to food & beverage establishments, and a comprehensive understanding of food & beverage operations as they relate to point of sale.
  • Passion for user-centric design, innovation, user experience research, and delivering exceptional innovative solutions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving product development initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Strong design skills and proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Miro.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project leadership skills, with the ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
