Operations Manager

We’re seeking an Operations Manager who is collaborative, people-focused, and motivated to support teams across our HVAC Service, Install, Plumbing, and Sales departments.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, continuous learning, and helping others grow. You will guide department leaders, strengthen processes, and ensure our teams deliver excellent service to our customers. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds who bring leadership experience and a passion for operational excellence.


What You’ll Do

• Support, mentor, and partner with Service, Install, Plumbing, and Sales Managers to create alignment, teamwork, and clear communication across departments.
• Help set and track departmental goals, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs), focusing on continuous improvement rather than perfection.
• Promote accountability through supportive coaching and constructive feedback so teams can reach revenue, productivity, and customer experience targets.
• Work closely with managers to encourage consistent communication, employee engagement, and professional growth among field staff.
• Champion training and development programs that help employees strengthen technical expertise, communication skills, and service excellence.
• Ensure company processes and policies are applied consistently and fairly across all teams.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, and customer experience.
• Monitor and improve performance metrics including:

  • Revenue production

  • Conversion rates

  • Average ticket

  • Return call percentage

  • Tech-Generated Lead % (TGL%)

  • Gross margin

  • Labor and material percentages

  • Culture, engagement, and retention goals
    • Support the evaluation and implementation of new tools or technologies that enhance processes and empower team success.


What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience leading teams in HVAC, Plumbing, or Home Services — or relevant experience managing operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience guiding employees, coaching performance, and supporting diverse teams.
• Understanding of operational metrics, budgeting, and business performance goals.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust, motivate others, and create an inclusive environment.
• Organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar software is a plus — we are happy to train the right candidate.
