We are seeking a strategic Benefits Partner to oversee our EMEA benefit and leave programs. This role requires a blend of hands-on administration and strategic oversight to ensure our programs are competitive, well-managed, and aligned with our company goals.

This role is part of the Global Benefits team and is based at Smartsheet in London, UK (hybrid or UK, remote eligible) and reports to the Director, Benefits based in the US.

You Will:

  • Oversee day-to-day benefit administration for regional entities, including leave and accommodations.
  • Provide exceptional service to employees and People Business Partner stakeholders related to benefit and leave matters including escalated issues.
  • Collaborate with payroll, systems, people teams, and outside vendors for accurate data management (HRIS: Workday) and execution.
  • Lead annual renewal and enrollment processes, including implementing any plan, system, and vendor changes.
  • Conduct market research and launch ad hoc benefit programs and projects including, but not limited to, global expansion with support from our benefits broker.
  • Keep up to date with legislative changes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Ownership and accountability of all regional accommodation and leave policies and procedures.
  • Actively contribute to the P&C team to drive best practice and ensure the benefit strategy supports the company's short and long-term objectives.
  • Lead change management for benefits and leave programs, ensuring smooth transitions through effective communication and stakeholder engagement

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in benefits and leave management with a focus on international programs.
  • Strong knowledge of international benefits laws, regulations, and market trends to be able to design and communicate engaging programmes.
  • Experience managing benefits across multiple countries and regions.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing global projects and managing vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide benefits and leave related insights on individuals or groups to the Benefits team to aid value-add decision making.
