As a People Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day People Operations. You’ll be the first point of contact for all people-related inquiries and will manage essential administrative and organizational tasks, from onboarding to offboarding. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and compliance of our People Operations, ensuring a seamless employee experience for all Solarians.

Your Role 

  • Employee Lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding and ensure smooth and compliant execution of People Operations processes
  • Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring all personal, employment, and payroll information is complete and compliant with internal and legal requirements
  • Documentation: Prepare and process employment contracts, onboarding documents, and other HR-related paperwork
  • HRIS: Ensure accurate and timely data entry in Personio
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees on queries, including those related to benefits, policies, and general People Operations procedures and provide administrative support

  • You have first experience in people operations ideally 2–3 years in a similar role, but we’re also open to candidates who have gained relevant experience through internships in the field
  • You are interested in executing administrative tasks, enjoy working with data, ensuring accuracy, and paying attention to the details that keep everything running smoothly
  • You have strong organizational & time-management skills
  • You have a service-oriented mindset, you’re patient, optimistic, and always ready to support employees with their questions and needs
  • You are a collaborative team player, you thrive in a team environment and are driven to create a positive workplace culture
  • You are eager to learn, you are curious, proactive, and always looking for ways to improve
  • You have proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experienced with HRIS tools (ideally Personio)
  • You have knowledge of German labor laws and regulations is highly desirable
  • You are fluent in English communication skills; German is a plus
  • You are based in Berlin and able to commute to the office 2–3 days per week
