As a Senior Digital Designer focused on brand, you will support the Regional Creative Director in the conception, design, and execution of Digital e-Commerce assets for a diverse range of marketing initiatives and business objectives within the Region. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing and delivering GTM digital assets across various Sol de Janeiro channels and Americas retailer.com markets. This involves conceptualizing new visual ideas within the existing Global framework, collaborating with the e-comm design team, and cross-functionally with category counterparts in copy and marketing to elevate our online presence consistently. Execute design deliverables from concept to completion within a given deadline.

This individual must be a strong self-starter with a multi-disciplinary portfolio showing experience in commercial design executions across multiple retail partners, including Sephora, Amazon, Ulta, etc., paid media, .com, and social. They must have a keen understanding of the importance of messaging hierarchies–able to partner with copy to ensure the CX across copy and design is clear and cohesive across channels. This person is eager to pitch in on collaborative big-picture thinking but is currently an executional master who finds satisfaction in executing work to the highest caliber.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Under the leadership of the Regional CD, this role will generate clear visual ideas, design executions, and occasionally entire localized concepts for regional specificity within the space.
    • You will leverage direction from Global Brand Books and/or Global Category leads via a formal Toolkit. As a brand steward, your team will be expected to uphold brand equity across all executions and must strategically bridge the requests and ensure local markets and clients continually comply with Brand Standards.
  • Be well versed in and continually stay up to date on visual and competitive trends while maintaining digital best practices across all channels within the market. Bridge the gap between marketing objectives and unique consumer experience.
  • Concept, execute and deliver 360 digital assets (animated and static) for e-commerce websites, social media content, paid media, email campaigns, and email templates. Ensure assets satisfy marketing objectives, highlight product efficacy, brand-DNA, and storytelling.
  • Produce digital sketches, mood boards, and storyboards, including mocks and comps, as required for Regionally lead Creative.
  • Collaborate with teammates while overseeing all details of the 360 digital campaign in partnership with cross-functional partners within creative and with regional marketing counterparts. Ensure brand design standards are upheld and that the style guide is adhered to.
  • Intake feedback from creative and marketing partners and execute with best-in-class creative solutions.
  • Organize and formalize the delivery of completed work to deliver to clients and/or vendors.
  • Partner with project management teams to ensure work is delivered according to market needs.
  • Oversee the production and execution of creative assets, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and tone.
  • Organize designs clearly and efficiently for routing and presentation purposes for both internal and external partners.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS/BFA degree in Graphic Design or similar.
  • 7+ years of experience working in relevant fields, beauty experience is a plus.
  • Software requirements: Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects), Figma
  • A knowledge and foundation of animation is a must.
  • Deep knowledge of the digital world–experience in e-comm, paid media, and social media.
  • Master graphic technician: knowledge and deep understanding of color, resolution, size accuracy, and production.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely – the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback that is necessary to improve creativity.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thoughtful, empathetic, and positive attitude with an infectious personal drive that energizes others.
  • A proactive, self-starter work ethic with the ability to operate independently within a small team.
  • Must be highly collaborative with the ability to understand the objectives of all cross-functional partners and work toward solutions that meet that need and uphold the creative integrity of the brand.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $100,000 USD

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
