What you'll do:

  • Manage relationships with distributed music clients across a variety of genres, including high-touch frontline and high-volume catalog labels.
  • Oversee high-level retail relationships and ensure best practices across all retail outlets.
  • Manage, coordinate, and optimize the local supply chain, troubleshoot any issues across the logistics, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Explore, identify, and support opportunities to grow The Orchard’s label partnerships in the region.
  • Manage and coordinate the Label Management and Operations team across the region to optimize operations efficiency.
  • Strategize and manage priority release campaign logistics from inception through to analysis, working with other internal departments as necessary.
  • Manage local label release communication and logistics, ensuring content is delivered in a timely manner and to the required specifications using Orchard technology systems.
  • Liaise with various internal departments, from finance and marketing to legal and management, to ensure all client and retail partner business needs are met.

 

Who you are:

  • Extensive or proven experience in digital space including music retail, analytics, social media, and digital music distribution with an ability to adapt to a constantly changing landscape.
  • Experience within a label or distribution company managing catalogs, frontline releases, and relationships.
  • An existing network of contacts within the industry and an aptitude to develop new relationships.
  • Proven experience to manage a team of skilled and driven individuals.
  • Highly advanced organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
