Director, Ceremony of Roses

Asia & Middle East, Singapore, Singapore

The Director, Ceremony of Roses Asia will lead the strategic expansion of the company across key Asian markets—activating new territories, building partnerships, and defining distribution models that support long-term, scalable growth.

The ideal candidate has proven experience driving growth on local eCommerce and social commerce platforms (e.g. TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada, Tmall, Line), with deep knowledge of Asian consumer behavior.

A strong network across music, fashion, entertainment, and digital commerce is key to unlocking new opportunities and shaping regional business models for artists and brands.

What you'll do:

Strategic Growth & Partnerships

  • Launch localized D2C storefronts for priority artists, with native-language and local-payment capabilities.
  • Develop tailored merch assortments including local collaborations and SMUs, and drive digital activations (e.g. sweepstakes, instant product drops).
  • Build a quarterly cadence of product drops to retain fans and drive repeat revenue.
  • Establish and oversee a regional multistore strategy with a focus on China, India, and Southeast Asia—leading fulfillment across vendors, production, warehousing, logistics, and customer service.
  • Open and manage 15+ Asia-based D2C artist stores per fiscal year.
  • Identify brand partnerships and experiential activations that amplify merch campaigns and drive new revenue.

Marketplace Expansion

  • Lead market-specific strategies and manage storefronts on key local platforms:
    • Tmall (China)
    • Lazada (Singapore)
    • Shopee (Indonesia)
    • Line (Thailand)
    • TikTok Shop (regional)
  • Localize merchandising, marketing, and engagement to drive conversion, retention, and repeat purchase.
  • Partner with platform teams on co-branded campaigns, listing optimization, and premium customer experiences.
  • Align eCommerce strategies with broader marketing and distribution plans.
  • Develop new business models (e.g. licensing, JVs, direct artist/brand partnerships) across Southeast Asia, Japan, and Korea.
  • Build governance and frameworks to ensure long-term growth and cross-functional alignment.

Who you are:

  • Commercially minded, with a strong grasp of both strategy and execution.
  • Independent, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Willing to dive into all aspects of the business—including administrative tasks such as artist settlements (with Finance), third-party POs and payments, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
  • Experienced with leading regional eCommerce/social commerce platforms (e.g. TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada, Tmall, Line).
  • Skilled in local D2C and fan engagement strategies tailored for Asian audiences.
  • Proven track record launching new markets and scaling sustainable operations.
  • Collaborative, with experience aligning internal and external stakeholders across music, fashion, and tech.
  • Passionate about youth culture and the intersection of music and commerce.
