THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR and Payroll Administrator to join our team. The HR and Payroll Administrator will be the first point of contact for anyone reaching out to the America’s HR team, providing general HR administrative support. This position will be responsible for entering and maintaining data in the HR system and working with the Payroll team to ensure the weekly and semi-monthly payrolls are processed accurately. This role will act as the intermediary between the HR and payroll teams. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll Administration

  • Adhere to payroll deadlines to ensure all data is captured in SuccessFactors for the given pay periods
  • Maintain payroll backup folders to support any changes made in the system
  • Work with the payroll team through discrepancies in the weekly and semi-monthly payrolls
  • Prepare and check the weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for auditing
  • Support time tracking process, reporting, and notifications for all US/hourly population on a weekly basis

General HR Administration

  • Coordinating all aspects of the new hire process, including welcoming new hire on first day, ensuring all required paperwork is completed, performing I-9 verifications, and aiding in logistics for orientation and coordination with hiring manager, as needed
  • Monitor HR-Americas inbox and respond to employee inquiries
  • Complete verbal and written employment verification requests and unemployment notices

HRIS Administration

  • Receive and process data change requests within the HRIS. This may include Compensation Changes, transfers, international transfers, changes in supervisors, promotions, etc
  • Work with TA team to complete onboarding of new hires
  • Work with TA to ensure Position Management directives are executed accordingly
  • Ensure employee documents are uploaded to their profiles

IDEAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

  • 2+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably with SuccessFactors HRIS
  • Highly organized and motivated individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • Discreet, dependable and mature, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality
  • Positive interpersonal manner and strong team player
  • Strong professional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees
  • Strong attention to detail and precise follow-through
  • Ability to provide high quality employee experience.

The proposed base salary for this position ranges from $60,000-$65,000. In addition to base salary successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus, as well as a competitive benefits package. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
