Revenue Operations aims to maximize revenue throughout, standardize & implement operational best practices, provide measurable insights for sales enablement to improve sales performance, and enhance full-funnel accountability across the entire customer journey.  We strive to be the connective tissue for all things revenue, as a result, we are highly analytical, data driven, and curious. As an Analyst, Sales Commission, you’ll get to manage the full commission lifecycle from plan design and modeling to accurate payouts and reporting. You will partner with team members across Sales, Finance, and RevOps to ensure compliance, and deliver insights that drive performance and scalability.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision and operational excellence. Success will come from strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex business motions in a highly evolving, high impact environment. 

StackAdapt is a remote-first company. We are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada and the US for this position.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Own the end-to-end commission process, including calculations, validation, reporting, and dispute management.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and RevOps on plan design, modeling scenarios, budgeting, and forecasting compensation costs.
  • Create and audit quarterly reports to ensure accuracy of commissions payouts and develop solutions to address any issues
  • Partner with Finance teams on accruals, reporting, budgeting, and operating cadence
  • Build sales compensation analytics, maintain monthly reporting for sales teams, and develop executive level presentations on sales compensation
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate processes, introducing scalable, tech-enabled solutions.
  • Maintain strong governance over compensation plans - ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate with revenue operations teammates on systems improvements for commissions
  • Evaluate commission guidelines periodically and suggest improvement measures

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 3+ years of professional work in sales compensation operations, sales finance, or sales operations within high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with comp tools (e.g., CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Xactly).
  • Proven track record of building or scaling commission frameworks that balance motivation with financial discipline.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - able to explain complex plan mechanics simply and clearly.
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves mindset - equally energized by strategic plan design and the hands-on detail of ensuring accurate payouts.
  • Intellectually curious, driven, and motivated by the opportunity to make an immediate impact on the organization
  • Bonus: experience with SOX, compliance, or IPO readiness in a Finance or Revenue Accounting setting.
  • Experience in Programmatic Advertising or Technology is a plus
