What You'll Do
Strategic Account Managers sit at the intersection of Sales and Customer Success Management, responsible for the relationship and revenue growth of Stensul’s Strategic Accounts. Strategic AMs helm the internal team that touches every element of the customer lifecycle, with that team ranging from Stensul’s C-Level Executives, product and marketing leadership, solutions consulting, and customer success teams. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the long-term success and growth of our most strategic accounts. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business objectives, and aligning them with our platform's capabilities.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Owning and growing a book of strategic accounts by navigating large, complex enterprise organizations
- Closing deals and negotiating customer agreements
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue and partnership goals
- Identifying and supporting ‘mobilizers’ in large organizations who can drive change and consensus for group buying decisions
- Proactively build pipeline of growth opportunities to expand Stensul’s footprint within their organizations
- Conducting business reviews with insights and recommendations
- Utilizing analytical, relationship-building, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills
- Collaborating with the rest of the Enterprise Team across Sales & Customer Success to refine our GTM strategy and tactics
Who You Are:
- 5+ years in a Client Sales, Strategic or Enterprise Account Management role, preferably with a SaaS B2B company
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership; thrives in a fast-paced B2B SaaS startup environment
- Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding retention and sales targets and quotas
- Experience building new pipeline for growth
- Experience working in an account team environment
- You have strong experience in a customer-facing role, advising C-level executives
- Excellent written and speaking communication skills
- Proactivity and planning strategies in your toolkit
- You thrive by managing customer relationships independently by putting the customer first and building strategies to make customers successful with new technologies
- You have an understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, preferably focused on email technology and key best practices and trends in email marketing

The base compensation range being offered for this role is $130,000-135,000 plus variable compensation. Please note that Stensul's compensation philosophy is based on a geographical market approach, and the salary range listed relates specifically to roles located in New York. Stensul's compensation and career growth philosophy focuses on impact in the role, and starting salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based the competencies and level demonstrated in the interview process.
