National Wholesale Director

Remote - United States

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and analytical Director of Sales to join our team, taking on a wide range of responsibilities, from the daily management of the sales team to managing large key accounts. This person will be responsible for leading and growing our wholesale sales at a national level, building strong relationships, both internally and externally, to ensure we hit our financial and revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Motivate sales team to meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Outline and manage sales budgets, as well as provide detailed sales forecasting for each market.
  • Look at regional and national market data to understand category-specific landscape and trends
  • Use data driven approach to create competitive pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs and improve customer satisfaction
  • Work with national and regional-level marketing team and sales to develop promotional plans, new product launches, advertising programs, and educational initiatives to drive sales with customers.
  • Proven results with achieving growth and building customer relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques
  • Strong working knowledge of the company’s products and competitive products and the market
  • Track record in utilization of data-driven insights for informed and strategic decision making.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Great strategic planning, organizational and creative thinking skills

Requirements:

Experience and Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience, with previous sales leadership within the cannabis industry
