We are looking for a hands-on manager for our marketing analytics team that can split their time equally between team leadership and individual contributions. You will collaborate with marketers, product managers, engineers, and researchers to accelerate learning, make data-informed decisions and define data-inspired solutions to fuel the growth of Strava’s platform. This role reports to the head of data and partners tightly with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the company.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to around half your time on-site in our San Francisco office —roughly three days per week.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:
Lead a team of data analysts to support the diverse needs of a global marketing organization
Drive strategic analytics initiatives to improve the efficiency and impact of the growth of Strava’s community and subscription product
Establish a learning agenda to create a foundation for robust marketing and product strategies
Partner with product and marketing teams to design and interpret A/B tests to drive explainable subscription and user retention outcomes
Collaborate with the broader data community at Strava (Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Platform, etc) to collectively improve our technological craftsmanship
You will be successful here by:
Applying your quantitative skillset and background in paid media to be a hands-on collaborator with our Growth Marketing team
Thinking about scalability, building reusable data sets, and designing self-service tools to empower your collaborators to learn along with you
Not being afraid to ask questions, learn, share and iterate on ways of working, your business area, and analytics capabilities
We’re excited about you because:
You have 5+ years of full-time experience in analytics, data science, or other quantitative domains and have supported growth marketing teams
You have 2+ years of experience leading high-functioning analytics teams
You are highly proficient with SQL and have experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau)
You have experience with using experimentation and other statistical methods to estimate incremental impact of marketing campaigns (e.g. time-series modeling, econometric methods)
You have hands-on experience working with statistical programming languages (e.g. R, Python)
You have an understanding of data pipeline concepts (e.g. ETL, scripting common analysis workflows)
Compensation Overview:
At Strava, we know our employees are the most important ingredient to our success, and our compensation and total rewards programs reflect that. We take a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on the department and your location. Salary ranges are categorized into one of three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. We will determine the candidate’s starting pay based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. We may modify these ranges in the future. Compensation: $230,000 - $245,000. The base salary posted is within the compensation range for this role. This range reflects base pay only and does not include equity or benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

Strava is looking for a Senior Product Manager to oversee the entire free-to-paid conversion journey on Strava. In this role, you’ll ensure we drive growth and engagement of our subscription with millions of users throughout their tenure. You will work within a dynamic team that includes research, engineering, design, analytics, and marketing, all collaborating to deliver the right value at the right time to our users. Your role will be crucial in converting and retaining users in our Subscription, ensuring they experience the full value of Strava.

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this role will be an integral part of bringing the vision of what the Strava product can be for athletes through driving strategic company-wide efforts, catalyzing and enabling scale and footprint expansions, and preparing for public-company readiness.
As our first dedicated Revenue Operations hire, you will collaborate across the company to help scale Strava for Business (SfB). You will be responsible for delivering operational excellence in the end-to-end process of order management, from the time an order is received until the cash is applied, including: billing, credit, deductions and collections processes. This role is highly cross functional and will work closely with Partner Managers and Account Managers on our Partnerships Team.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to around half your time on-site in our San Francisco, CA office —roughly three days per week.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:
Manage the end to end order-to-cash processes, including order management, billing, credit, deductions, cash application and collections, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Lead, prepare and manage aspects of the monthly close activities, including: preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations and flux analysis.
Monitor the credit management process, including: customer credit checks, credit limits, and credit holds, to minimize financial risk.
Drive the collections strategy to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and maintain a healthy cash flow.
Identify and scale processes to improve efficiencies and support our rapidly growing SfB revenue including: system & process design and implementation of a billing automation system.
Facilitate and support audits through the delivery of records and documentation to external auditors, as required.
Serve as a key resource for FP&A and Controllership to deliver relevant, timely, and accurate financial data and metrics to enable operational efficiency.
Be part of a public readiness journey from late-stage private to public including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
You will be successful here by:
Developing, maintaining and adhering to policies and procedures, calendars, checklists, process maps, and other procedural documentation. Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures. Partner cross-functionally to provide compliance reporting and process controls.
Performing regular internal review procedures to ensure proper documentation, records, and reviews and sign-offs. Conduct research to ensure any anomalies are explained and resolved.
Operating as an accounting subject matter expert, collaborating with business stakeholders on business-lead initiatives. Facilitate the development of project plans and schedules, as necessary.
Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of all systems to independently research and resolve issues.
We’re excited about you because:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, related field, or combination of professional experience
4+ years of experience in revenue operations (order-to-cash) or a similar finance role
Proven ability to manage and understand US GAAP and order-to-cash processes
You have experience in subscription billing processes, invoicing, and collections strategies
Prior experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System such as NetSuite or equivalent
Proven ability to design, implement, and continuously optimize order-to-cash processes, as well as internal controls, aimed at balancing operational risk, quality, and increased efficiencies
Demonstrated strength with analytical and problem-solving skills, including advanced ability to analyze and present data
Proven ability to maintain excellent attention to detail and accuracy
