Position Summary:
Strongpoint Partners is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team, reporting to the Director of FP&A. As a member of the team, you will be focused on financial reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis across Strongpoint partner teams. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded performer who is highly analytical, thrives in a fast-paced work environment, and embraces a collaborative work style. This is a highly visible role business partner role which will work closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional business partners to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is based out of our downtown Chicago office with a hybrid schedule offering a mix of in-person and remote work; the expectation for this role is ~3-days in-office per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and provide value-added insights to business partners that support data-driven decision-making
- Maintain and enhance the monthly financial forecast to support strategic planning and operational performance
- Assist with the annual budgeting process, partnering with departments and business units to build a detailed consolidated financial plan
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to provide deeper insights into business performance and emerging trends
- Partner with the Accounting team to enhance the GL structure and improve financial reporting processes
- Consolidate, report, and analyze key financial and operational KPIs
- Leverage technology, automation, and AI tools to improve reporting, forecasting, and financial planning workflows
- Work both independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality financial analysis and insights
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or a related finance role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience supporting or building a corporate budgeting process
- Strong experience with variance analysis and financial commentary
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
- High level of attention to detail and analytical rigor
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Vena or similar FP&A software experience preferred.
- Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
Pay Transparency Statement:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 annually.
At Strongpoint Partners, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
