Senior Designer - Multi User Admin Team

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of our Admin Experience for the Multi-User Platform. In this role, you will be on a team of designers crafting SurveyMonkey’s Platform experience, augmenting and supporting the user journeys of our core survey and forms product. This position requires a seasoned product designer with a strong curiosity for the unique needs of admin users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and deliver exceptional user experiences. This position will be in our Bangalore office, co-located with Product and Engineering.

What you’ll be working on

  • End-to-end design of SurveyMonkey’s Admin Experience for the Multi-User Platform
  • Championing and advocating for admin users, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is spectacular
  • Building the product vision and informing the roadmap together with your counterparts in Product and Engineering
  • Discovering problems and evaluating ideas through user research, product instrumentation, and business metrics. You’ll be conducting interviews and usability studies, interpreting usage data, and more in tandem with your Product partner.
  • Building collaborative, influential relationships and processes with other designers, Product, Engineering, Content Strategy, Research, Sales, Customer Success, and other cross-functional peers to identify and solve the problems of admin users

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience, 5+ years in SaaS
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in human-computer interaction, user experience, interaction design, human factors engineering, or related field
  • Expertise in understanding, unraveling, and designing for highly complex information systems
  • A portfolio demonstrating the design of best-in-class solutions for complex information systems. Work examples should: 1) showcase your visual and interaction design skills, 2) demonstrate design thinking from problem to ideation to solution, especially IA breakdowns and 3) show how your work impacted the business.
  • Excellence in communicating your designs, approach, and rationale for design decisions to stakeholders. A hunger for receiving and seeking out feedback from both fellow designers and cross-functional peers & leadership.
  • Experience adopting, contributing to, and championing design systems
  • Expertise with Figma (or similar design authoring tools)
  • Experience building products in a remote or distributed team environment

This opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Bengaluru 3 days per week.
