What we’re looking for

Our growth team is committed to creating visually stunning and engaging designs that boost user engagement, product adoption, and conversion rates. We are looking for a skilled Product Designer with expertise in 2d Vector motion design and web based animations to join our vibrant team. 

As a Senior Product Designer, you will have a strong interest in data and a passion for developing customer-centric products that captivate and delight users. This role provides a unique opportunity to apply your visual design skills and strategic thinking in a practical setting. You will play a crucial role on the growth design team, focusing on running experiments on our survey Endpage to drive growth metrics. This position is based in our Bangalore office, where you will work closely with the Engineering team.

What you’ll be working on

  • Bring strong a user-centered design perspective to our highly collaborative growth team (Product, Engineering and Content)
  • Rapidly iterate, concept and prototype user experiences, with an emphasis on right-sizing your design solution to the problem at hand.
  • Interpret qualitative and quantitative data to craft hypotheses around user behavior, and create user experiences that drive the intended outcome.
  • Support & encourage a culture of accountability and feedback – you give it, receive it and grow from it, and encourage this practice on the team
  • Be comfortable using Figma to design solutions, and eager to revise your work when new information surfaces.
  • Execute your projects independently with a high degree of autonomy and ownership
  • Create high-fidelity mockups, UI components that align with our brand identity and product vision.
  • Develop engaging GIFS, illustrations and micro-interactions that enhance user experience and delight users

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 8+ years of experience in Product/UX Design and 3+ years specializing in visual or 2d motion design
  • Passion for product led growth and feedback tools
  • Interest in the psychology of purchasing behavior, upgrades, and the intersection of design and our goals
  • A grasp of data informed design. You enjoy understanding what motivates customers and can guide the team on experiments to validate hypotheses.
  • Experience building products in a remote or distributed team environment.
  • Experience communicating with department leaders, leading experience conversations, and using research outcomes to make decisions.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Lottie animations or similar tools. 
  • Passion for design and developing best-in-class solutions to UX, UI, visual, motion, prototyping, and interaction challenges (SurveyMonkey uses Figma.)
  • Experience with design systems (adherence, documentation, usage and contribution.)
  • Demonstrated portfolio of shipping amazing customer experiences that have made a significant impact on business and customer metrics.  
  • Bonus points for experience working on a growth team.

This opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Bengaluru 3 days per week.
