About the Job:
The Franchise Training Leader – LA&C is responsible for all things training in the Latin America and Caribbean Business Unit and drives impact across the Taco Bell business through crucial work that they do to ensure our training systems and process are in place with Taco Bell international Franchisees. With this role, the opportunities are endless: including supporting new entries and onboarding our new Franchisees supporting the international growth of Taco Bell. The Franchise Training Leader – LA&C will report to HR Lead – LA&C and work closely with the Associate Manager, International Training.
The Day-to-Day:
- Manage and support new market openings by developing and delivering tailored training plans, ensuring smooth launches and franchise success within the LA&C Business Unit.
- Lead the planning and execution of franchise training programs that ensure consistency with global Taco Bell standards and operational excellence.
- Manage training program effectiveness by assessing the performance of employees post-training to ensure objectives are met and collecting feedback on training programs and adjust for continuous improvement.
- Manage training systems within the business unit and ensure consistency within all franchise organizations.
- Partner with HR Leader to support operation initiatives with training support.
- Create support materials for Experience windows using templates from the Learning & Development team.
- Partner with the Learning & Development and HR Technology Team’s to update training materials and brand standards used in restaurants.
- Partner with the Learning and Development Team for training material translations to support Franchisee growth in the Business Unit.
Is This You?
- At least 5 years’ experience in people training and development, specifically within the franchise or retail operations environment.
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese - both written and spoken
- In-depth knowledge of franchise operations, with a focus on training system implementation and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to design and deliver operational training programs, ensuring alignment with brand standards and operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of training needs analysis, content creation, and customization to suit operational requirements.
- Ability to maintain open communication between trainees, management, and franchise leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing group dynamics, resolving conflicts efficiently, and delivering clear, engaging instructions during training sessions to foster productive learning environments.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including administration, reporting, and tracking training progress across teams.
- Project management experience in coordinating and executing training initiatives for multiple franchises or locations

Salary Range: $96,000 to $112,900 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
