Job Overview
Talkdesk is seeking a Sales Acceleration Initiatives Director for the Americas, providing direct support to sales leadership and their teams to support the growing business. This role is aligned to support the strategic vision and growth initiatives of our SVP of Americas Sales.
You will actively contribute by shaping strategy, building & executing enablement and operational plans, driving key initiatives that translate into sales growth, and delivering on strategic & tactical “run the business” imperatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support SVP in executing and implementing key initiatives in three areas: pipeline acceleration, enablement and strategic priorities; as defined on a quarterly basis.
- Partner with the US Sales Leadership team to define, prioritize, and execute against our revenue driving initiatives for the business.
- Summarize takeaways from area QBRs to aid in quarterly prioritization process
- Drive Americas Sales GTM alignment supporting partner initiatives and processes
- Facilitate alignment between sales organization and cross-functional teams, ensuring proactive engagement for feedback and perspective
- Create and maintain documentation and framework for key sales processes, such as key pipe gen turn key activities, sales campaigns, methodology framework, etc.
- Participate in sales leadership meetings, remote and in person
- Responsible for pipeline generating activities and programs that run short term in Q and full year.
- Maintain and help execute on sales All Hands agenda
- Own creation of, or partnership with Marketing, for sales specific needs, such as verticalized initiatives and product launches as it relates to pipeline.
- Support consistency across sales organizations with identifying qualitative trends, pain points, and successes. Sharing insights with SVP for consideration in prioritization of needs
Support:
- Sales acceleration: communicate field training needs with appropriate stakeholders; business scaling initiatives, deal acceleration programs; various events. Liaison between sales and enablement to ensure content and plans hit the mark.
- Cross-functional engagement & alignment: Drive collaboration, alignment to Americas sales priorities, and execution around key strategic initiatives; operational rigor to ensure execution
Requirements:
- 5+ years of direct related experience with strategic sales growth and planning
- 8+ years of experience in related sales or customer success
- Experience with technical sales tools, including Salesforce
- Strong collaboration and communication skills - ability to work with cross-functional executives and individual contributors
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong problem-solving and execution skills
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
