Senior Project Manager, Design

Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager, Design is responsible for the delivery of the design development portion of the agency’s output. They are involved throughout the duration of the project as the connector that holds the design development process together, acting as agnostic steward of the work. In this role they will collaborate with brand PMs to drive seamless communication and integration between design and creative team for to optimize our agency’s creative and design output. They will also provide project management support for new business pitches and ad hoc requests. The role would report into DXD Business Lead and TBWA NY Project Management Lead.
Overall Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for DxD project intake, ensuring there is a clear design brief and ask and that there is clear alignment between agency core team and DxD
- Manages the communications of the design process, drive timelines for optimum output, and manage the workflow throughout the lifecycle working closely with brand PMs to managing overarching schedules and design development budgets reconciliation
- Collaborates with Brand PM to manage overall project plan and schedules, scopes, assets, capacity planning, change management and overall project organization
- Manages internal and client-facing meetings by tracking feedback, requested revisions and establishes clear expectations for delivery and ambitions
- Partners with Production creating work plans and ensures deadlines are met
- Adjusts/refines and shifts priorities across design projects/tasks and co-leads with brand PM internal reviews to ensure that we are on-time and delivering the best work possible.
- Coordinates and runs a weekly design status meeting and provide day-to-day project status to the team
- Handles invoice tracking and account billing for both retainer and project-based accounts
- Organizes the creative briefs on DXD task management system.
Qualifications:
- Must be fluent in Portuguese
- 8-10 years project management, can be combined with production experience; ideally in design projects
- Experience working in a creative environment; from strategy development through to production delivery
- Team player, able to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and colleagues of all levels
- Able to work both collaboratively and autonomously for solutions-oriented results
- Clear and concise written and verbal presentation skills and style; proficient in presentation (Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint) and workflow software i.e. Smartsheet, Microsoft Project
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Location:
Given the nature of our Project Management team and the client assigned to this role, we are only considering candidates that currently live in or wish to relocate to New York City, in the near future (first 60 days of employment).
The annual salary range for this role is $90,000-$120,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location and experience. Other compensation includes relocation costs, if applicable.
