Staff Software Engineer - Middleware

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer – Integrations, with deep expertise in integrations, particularly in the realm of Boomi, and Confluent Kafka. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Boomi for integrations and Confluent Kafka for event processing. This role is perfect for a technically skilled individual who enjoys diving into the code, leading from the front, and driving the implementation of complex integration solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead design, develop, and implement integration solutions leveraging Boomi middleware and Confluent Kafka for event processing. Architectural, Design and experience with Boomi integrations is must. 
• Boomi custom connector development experience is essential. 
• Good understanding and hands on with AWS Cloud architecture and design. 
  Dive into the codebase when necessary, collaborating with the team to write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. 
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, architects, product managers, and operations to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications. 
• Architect and implement scalable, resilient, and high-performance integration solutions that meet the organization's evolving needs. 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them through complex technical challenges and fostering their growth. 
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to integration, API management, and event-driven architectures. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7 years minimum experience in software development, with a focus on integration technologies. 
• Experience with integration design and architecture. 
• Extensive experience with Boomi is must and at least one of the other two: API gateway management or Confluent Kafka for event streaming. 
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous messaging patterns, Cloud Infrastructure. 
• Proven track record of design and implementation of complex integration solutions in large-scale enterprise environments. 
• Experience with building integrations with most common CRM & ERP Applications like Salesforce, Netsuite, Workday, Concur is a big plus. 
• Subject matter experience on Quote to Cash modules & Customer data is a big plus 
• Experience at a SaaS company is highly desirable.
