Job Description
The Senior Program Manager oversees the planning, implementation, execution, and reporting on assigned OEM programs in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization. Along with developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization, the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for planning, resource allocation, project deliverables, and provide executive management project reports relative to the OEM Program.
Key Responsibilities
Application & Customer Support:
- · Ensure that OEM programs meet or exceed goals in areas including customer satisfaction, compliance, quality, and team member performance.
- · Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- · Facilitate communication between Tekion and OEM and internal teams.
- · Identify opportunities to improve Tekion solutions using inputs from OEM.
- · Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
- · Analyzing program risks.
- · Product related responsibilities around OEM Program, integrations, and design.
DRP or Partner Integration:
- · Identify, engage, and develop relationships with major key stakeholders at OEM and vendor partner levels.
- · Identify scope, timeline, and necessary stakeholders for OEM and Vendor integrations.
- · Create integration timeline in alignment with OEM, as well as product/engineering teams to meet agreed upon delivery dates.
- · Drive integrations together with OEM partner, identify fastest path to success, and develop strategies to avoid and overcome blockers.
- · Introduce and present Tekion products and services at all OEM and vendor partner levels.
- · As required, understand integration needs with vendor partners and drive those integrations together with Product/Engineering team to completion.
- · Train field team on how to use/test integrations.
- · Become an expert on DMS integrations on both the OEM side as well as the vendor partner side.
- · Represent Tekion at conferences and trade shows as required.
- · Work with OEMs, dealers and vendor partners to identify use cases, integration requirements, business cases and end-user experiences.
- · Oversee and own the entire integrations process end-to-end.
- · Establish trusting communication with our commercial, product and engineering teams.
- · Succinct communication with your customers, for example when speaking with CIOs/CTOs.
Skills and Experience
- · 7+ years project/program management experience
- · Define product requirements, prioritization and drive ongoing collaboration with our world-class
- product and engineering teams
- · Sales mindedness and/or experience considered plus.
- · High level of interpersonal communication skills including.
- · Responsible, organized, creative, and excellent attention to detail.
- · Must be proficient in Software Products such as - Word, Excel, SharePoint, Confluence and PowerPoint
- · Strong business ethic
- · High energy, self-starter with the ability to exceed in team and independent environments.
Preferred Skills
- · Experience working in the automotive retail industry
- · Experience working at or with OEMs
- · Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
- · Experience with Product Management / Integrations
