Your Role:

Tenable is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary software initiatives across Engineering, Product, InfoSec, and IT. Program Managers at Tenable are central to our development lifecycle—responsible not only for delivering high-quality, high-impact software solutions on time and aligned with product strategy, but also for driving continuous improvements to how we build products. This role requires strong technical fluency, structured program leadership, and exceptional collaboration skills across business and technical teams.

Your Opportunity

  • Ensure all products within the Tenable portfolio align with the overall product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market objectives
  • Own technical program planning and execution across Product, Engineering, IT, InfoSec, and other internal teams to deliver on roadmap item commitments
  • Foster strong partnerships across technical and business teams to navigate priorities, timelines, and complex interdependencies
  • Manage the creation, continuous refinement, and broad communication of the product roadmap
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical delivery challenges, from early concept through feature deployment, using creative problem-solving and cross-functional coordination
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time
  • This position is US-based only

What You'll Need:

  • Must be able to work in a hybrid/on-site capacity at our Columbia, MD headquarters
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent technical experience
  • 8+ years of experience developing, managing, or supporting complex software or SaaS products 
  • Knowledge and/or experience with enterprise security solutions or infrastructure platforms is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS product development or delivery
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA and ServiceNow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong project delivery and time management skills in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods; some travel required for quarterly business meetings
  • PROSCI certification is highly desirable

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance. $113,000 - $151,000 USD
