Webmaster
OPS Consulting is seeking a Webmaster to work in Laurel, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a project manager for the web team’s tasks
- Help to identify, define, capture, requirements and prepare plans and roadmaps for design, development and release
- Coordinate, manage, and communicate project plans, requirements, and version releases by working closely with USG stakeholders and other team members
- Performs traffic analysis, user polls, UX analysis to ensure communication/usage optimization including periodic testing and user testing to ensure it is functioning as intended as that user needs are being met
- Plans, creates, executes and manages the web design/structure/strategy to ensure users experience principles are being applied, branding standards are met
- Ensures security protocols are being followed and addressed, and removing accesses as appropriate. Monitor the Confluence space on a regular basis to ensure usage is following Terms of Use/Usage Agreement
- Collaborates and works with a larger team to plan, design, and implement new features or components as identified by leadership and USG stakeholders
- Work closely with content owners SME authors in various mission areas to identify content and UX needs of the end user and draft site content for review (including text, files, graphics and more)
- Designs and creates various forms of media for publishing through the site or in other digital formats
- Experience creating/managing Confluence spaces and instances including permissions
- Uses knowledge of Confluence and other corporate tools available to deliver requested capabilities or requirements (e.g. when to integrate SharePoint, Casport, or other corporate online services/solutions)
- Experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is required
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools is helpful
Required Skills:
- Seven (7) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Desired Skills:
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Security Clearance:
- A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
