Staff Accountant
Responsibilities:
Managing the day-to-day general accounting operations and functions including:
- Payroll Processing
- Semi-monthly payroll processing
- GL entries and reconciliations
- Invoicing
- Semi-monthly timesheet processing
- Generate weekly, semi-monthly and monthly invoices per contract requirements
- Monthly customer deliverables
- Update project funds and dates as funding is received
- Accounts Payable
- Employee reimbursement processing
- Invoice processing
- Accounts Receivable
- Post cash deposits as payments are received
- Assist with DCAA and bank audits/ reviews
- Special projects and reporting
- Other duties as directed
Required Experience:
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate skills related to managerial and cost accounting. Other required skills include:
- 2-5 years accounting experience
- Technologically savvy; particularly able to work well in MS Office Suite (especially: Excel, Office 365 and SharePoint)
- Extremely attentive to details
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Experience working in a small, entrepreneurial business environment
Desired Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Payroll processing experience is preferred
- Experience working in a consulting environment is preferred
- Ability to manage and support Costpoint software is a plus

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
