Learning Managment Systems Coordinator

Summary:
The Learning Management Systems Coordinator (LMS Coordinator) is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's learning management system to support the delivery and tracking of online training and certification programs. This role involves configuring the LMS, providing user support, and tracking certifications to ensure training content, user access, and compliance are effectively managed and reported.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the LMS to ensure seamless operation and user experience.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues.
- Upload and organize courses, quizzes, and multimedia. Collaborate with content developers to ensure training content is accessible and up to date.
- Track employee certifications, ensure timely renewals, and maintain accurate certification records in the LMS.
- Generate reminders for upcoming certification expirations.
- Provide LMS user support, including troubleshooting and responding to queries.
- Generate reports on course completions, learner progress, and certification statuses.
- Provide insights to leadership for optimizing training effectiveness and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, privacy regulations, and organizational policies.
- Work with Organization Development and other departments to align LMS functionalities with organizational goals, especially regarding certification tracking and reporting.
- Other duties as required.
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Experience managing an LMS, including user management, content uploads, and troubleshooting (Cornerstone a plus).
- Experience in tracking certifications, managing compliance, and generating relevant reports.
- Knowledge of e-learning technologies and instructional design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Physical Demands/Work Conditions:
- Sitting for prolonged periods at a desk while using a computer.
- Typing and using a mouse frequently throughout the workday.
- Occasionally standing and walking within the office to retrieve files or documents.
- Lifting and carrying light office supplies, such as paper or small packages, typically weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Reaching and bending to access file cabinets and shelves.
- Using a telephone for extended periods to communicate.
- Visual acuity to read and interpret documents, emails, and computer screens.
- Hearing ability to understand and respond to customer inquiries and communicate with colleagues.
