Job brief:
The Programmatic Sales Director will play a key role in driving revenue growth by developing and executing a strategic sales plan to expand our customer base. This position requires a results-driven professional with deep expertise in programmatic advertising, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to identify and close new business opportunities.
The impact you'll make:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Understand client needs and tailor data solutions to meet those needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and how they address customer challenges.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Track and report on sales activities, progress, and results using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute lead generation campaigns.
- Work with product management to relay customer feedback and market needs.
- Coordinate with sales and customer support teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction, enhance customer retention, and identify upsell opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you've accomplished:
- 5+ years of client-facing experience in Programmatic (PMP and Programmatic Guaranteed) digital media sales. Data sales experience a plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling programmatic media solutions to agency trading desks, clients, ad tech buyers, and complex solutions to senior executives and decision-makers.
- Prior digital account management/strategy or Programmatic AdTech work experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and value propositions.
- Travel to meet clients in person and generate leads is required
Base Salary: $140,000-$154,000
The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
