Pay Rate: $120,000


About the Role 

This position will provide strategic leadership and full life-cycle management of the maintenance services contract at MCAS Beaufort. This role has overall responsibility for contract execution, operational performance, financial management, and customer satisfaction while leading a workforce of approximately 40 employees. The Contract Manager ensures all contract requirements are achieved through effective leadership, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and partnership with government stakeholders.

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide end-to-end oversight, leadership, and management of the contract to ensure successful execution and performance.
  • Develop and implement program assessment and continuous improvement processes to evaluate performance and drive operational excellence.
  • Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, cost control, and loss prevention to maximize productivity and performance.
  • Lead contract modifications, negotiations, and execution of contractual changes.
  • Partner closely with supervisors and technical leadership to understand customer requirements and successfully execute projects and operational initiatives.
  • Exercise supervisory and personnel management responsibilities to support workforce performance and contract success.
  • Establish performance goals, priorities, and timelines aligned with company objectives and customer mission requirements.
  • Ensure contract performance complies with company policies, government regulations, contractual obligations, and applicable statutes while promoting quality, innovation, and safety.
  • Conduct program reviews, staff meetings, customer engagement activities, business development efforts, and other operational functions.
  • Lead and engage the workforce in fostering strong customer partnerships and continuously improving performance and business relationships.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and government stakeholders for all contract-related matters.
  • Direct and approve contract modifications, authorize budgets, and implement corrective actions to resolve operational or performance issues.
  • Maintain proficiency in business systems supporting contract operations and lead implementation of future systems and process improvements as needed.
  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance to cross-functional teams including Finance, Accounting, HR, Training, Information Technology, and Procurement.
  • Conduct presentations, briefings, and participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all maintenance equipment and tools are properly maintained, operational, and available to support contract requirements.
  • Support business development initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.

 

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience managing a workforce delivering services on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations applicable to maintenance service contracts.
  • Demonstrated analytical and leadership capabilities necessary to manage complex administrative, organizational, financial, and contractual matters.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Ability to work onsite during Government operating hours and be available onsite within one hour outside of standard operating hours when required.
  • Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, and the ability to operate vehicles or equipment as required.

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
  • Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE.   

US Pay Range

$120,000 - $120,000 USD
