Scope of Work:
The Cleared Security Escort is responsible for monitoring and accompanying authorized and non-cleared personnel within secure facilities to ensure full compliance with all safety and security requirements. This role protects classified and controlled areas by maintaining constant oversight of escorted personnel, preventing unauthorized access, and enforcing adherence to established security protocols. The Security Escort serves as a visible, professional presence and plays a critical role in preserving operational integrity, safety, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Escort and continuously monitor authorized and non-cleared personnel within designated secure or controlled areas.
- Maintain uninterrupted visual and situational awareness of all escorted individuals at all times.
- Ensure all work performed aligns with approved scope, security requirements, and safety standards.
- Immediately halt any unsafe, non-compliant, or suspicious activity to prevent injury, security violations, or operational disruption.
- Verify proper authorization, badging, and access credentials prior to and during escort activities.
- Control access points and ensure escorted personnel do not access unauthorized areas or materials.
- Document and report all security, safety, or procedural violations in accordance with established reporting protocols.
- Escalate incidents, discrepancies, or concerns promptly to the Escort Supervisor or appropriate security personnel.
- Support audits, inspections, or security reviews by providing accurate information and documentation as required.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and remain vigilant to potential risks or irregularities.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of security operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active U.S. Government security clearance (Secret required; Top Secret preferred, as applicable to contract).
- Prior experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related field preferred.
- Experience overseeing multi-trade teams and work order systems (e.g., CMMS/Maximo) in a government or Base Operations Support contract environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must hold and maintain a Tier 5 background check(Top Secret / SCI Clearance),as required for the position.
- Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.
- Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE.
- Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
US Pay Range
$25 - $25 USD
