Clearance Level: Secret

Travel: N/A

Pay Rate: $22.34/hour ($23.18 effective 10/1/26)

Health & Welfare: $8.00/hour up to 40 hours per week (Effective 10/1/26, it will range from $8.28 – $11.11 based on insurance coverage tier)


About the Role 

The Service Order Dispatcher receives, records, tracks, distributes, creates, and closes work orders at FASTC.

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Receives work order requests from the customer.
  • Keeps record of service calls and work orders. Records information into Maximo.
  • Tracks the status of the work orders.
  • Dispatch and distribute work orders to technicians upon customers’ requests for service. Relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews.
  • Close work orders upon completion.
  • Maintain radio coverage for the FMS Help Desk throughout the assigned shift, except during scheduled breaks and lunch periods.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and other reports as requested or required.
  • Correspond with the customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service.
  • Consistently produces quality products and service. 
  • Completes all training within required timeline. 
  • Performs all work in a safe and secure manner. 
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.  
  • Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Understand and use computer maintenance management systems, MAXIMO strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, and Word.  
  • Familiar with preparation of various military and government forms desired.  
  • Type 50 wpm.
  • Possess and demonstrate a courteous and positive attitude toward customers.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures and operating instructions.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for successful completions of assigned tasks.
  • Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities. 
  • Highly motivated, flexible organized and must be detail oriented. 
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. 
  • Must have ability to maintain assigned work hours.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.  
  • Must have knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards and standard safety practices. 
  • Must maintain licenses and/or credentials required for this position.
  • Must possess the ability to interact well with others in a team setting ability or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice. 
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Real ID state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to remain seated and work at a computer workstation for extended periods, with frequent use of a keyboard, mouse, and computer monitor.  Occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.

US Pay Range

$22.34 - $22.34 USD
