You’ll be joining a dedicated and dynamic team focused on driving Tide’s market success in Germany. The Tide Germany team is in an exciting growth phase, bringing together professionals with deep expertise in fintech, product development, and local market dynamics. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive the growth of Tide’s business accounts and payment solutions in Germany. In this pivotal role, you will lead product growth initiatives, leveraging analytics, customer insights, and market trends to position Tide as a leading financial partner for small businesses in Germany.
As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will have end-to-end accountability for German revenues, working closely with our Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams. Reporting directly to the Country Managing Director, your expertise in the German market, customer behavior, and regulatory landscape will be instrumental in shaping Tide’s offering and driving strategic growth.
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Revenue Ownership: Take ownership for driving revenue growth across product lines in Germany. Develop and execute strategies to meet revenue targets, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between product offerings, pricing, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Local Market Expertise: Collaborate with the product research teams to conduct local market research to uncover customer needs, analyse competitive dynamics, and identify market opportunities. Translate these insights into actionable strategies to enhance Tide’s product offerings.
- Product Localization and Development: Collaborate with global product managers to design and launch products tailored to the German market. Lead initiatives to ensure local relevance and compliance, while maintaining alignment with Tide’s global vision.
- Marketing and Sales Strategy: Work with regional marketing teams to develop and refine marketing and sales strategies for marketing the products in the German market. Monitor performance metrics and adapt plans to ensure we meet and exceed growth targets.
- Content and Collateral Creation: Produce high-quality marketing and customer-facing materials, ensuring they are compliant with German regulations and resonate with local audiences.
- Operational Readiness and Go-Live Support: Partner with the Operations team to ensure seamless product launches, from final QA testing to internal training and ongoing support for new features.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact between global and local teams, driving alignment and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You have 7+ years' relevant product marketing experience ideally within the SME, SaaS, or fintech industries. Experience with banking or payment solutions for SMEs is highly desirable.
- You excel at developing and executing product marketing strategies that deliver measurable business impact. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and remove blockers.
- You have very strong project management skills and can foster collaboration with teams outside of your direct control by building strong relationships.
- You’re well versed in product analytics, and can use data to drive decisions within product marketing campaigns and follow it up with actions to constantly improve on product acquisition and engagement goals.
- You’ve worked across multiple markets, navigating the complexities of global product development with a keen understanding of localization requirements.
- You’re comfortable working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch.
- You’re a self-starter who doesn’t wait for instruction, and who works backwards from targets to ensure effective execution.
