ABOUT THE TEAM :-

As a Special Projects Manager/ Country Commercial Manager:-

  • You would be collaborating closely with top management to understand business objectives, identify opportunities, and develop strategic plans. 
  • You will lead discussions and facilitate decision-making processes by providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals. You will be conducting thorough research and data analysis to support strategic initiatives and drive informed decision-making. 
  • You will develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress and identifying potential risks or roadblocks. You will serve as a liaison between senior management and various stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of priorities
  • You will utilize exceptional Excel skills to analyze large datasets, generate reports, and create insightful visualizations. You will create high-quality presentations and reports using PowerPoint, distilling complex information into clear and concise formats for senior leadership.
  •  You will proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within the organization. You will close the loop on action items and decisions made by senior management, ensuring follow-up and accountability across all levels of the organization

ABOUT THE ROLE :-

  • You must ensure that product delivery roadmaps from contributing areas and operational readiness activities are aligned to meet programme objectives
  • You must identify and resolving or escalating cross-area dependencies, blockers and issues
  • You must create and chairing Steering Groups to drive senior decision making and issue resolution
  • You must orchestrate between business areas and enabling stakeholders
  • You must communicate progress, risks and issues to internal and external stakeholders
  • You must manage program specific resources not aligned to existing functions
  • You must manage program budgets and monitoring business outcomes

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:-

  • You must have a B-Tech and MBA degree
  • You must have minimum experience 5 - 9 years and a demonstrable track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects or programs in technology organizations
  • You’ve led programs ranging between tech/product and operational focus, and are happy to apply your experience where it’s needed - we only have a small number of programs and our program managers need to to adapt to their demands
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity - we will build frameworks and processes where we need to, but what’s important is delivery and that we move at pace. We may not know exactly how best to manage a given program.
  • You should have excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • You’ll be working with the most junior and the most senior people at Tide - and will need to be equally adept at building relationships with both.
  • You should have experience in managing external stakeholders as well.
  • You should have superlative communication skills, both face-to-face and on paper, and you believe in over-investing in communication
  • You have experience working in agile delivery environments. We aren’t looking to impose waterfall approaches on our teams and you'll be able to find the right ways of working with them to deliver results (and this may differ across programs).
  • You should be intensely data-driven, you use it to inform your own decisions and to help others to make theirs.
  • You should have used tools such as Power BI or Looker to do this (and spreadsheets where you have to!)
  • You should work with your sleeves rolled up. You’ll be deep in the detail and getting your hands dirty
  • You’re a master influencer - none of the people you will need will work for you (but everyone will want to succeed!)
  • You may have worked in financial services and/or a scale-up environment
  • You may have project or program management accreditation
  • You may have experience with enterprise program management solutions such as Jira Advanced Roadmaps/Align
