What is this role like?
We’re looking for a Demand Generation who will take full, hands-on ownership of building, optimizing, and executing our B2B growth strategy. Given Topsort’s growth phase, this is not a role focused purely on management or delegation. It is a Player-Coach position where you are personally responsible for setting up campaigns, managing the entire MarTech stack, and demonstrating success through measurable pipeline generation. You must be deeply comfortable designing and executing campaigns tailored to the complex Enterprise sales cycle typical of B2B platforms, partnering closely with our Product Marketing and Sales teams.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Execution and Pipeline Ownership
- Build the Funnel (Hands-On): Personally design, implement, and manage all Inbound and Outbound campaigns required to source leads that convert into high-quality Enterprise-level pipeline.
- Run Paid Media Campaigns: Directly execute and optimize high-impact, low-budget campaigns across Paid Social, PPC, and specialized industry channels, constantly testing new creative and copy.
- MarTech Operations Mastery: Be hands-on in our Marketing Automation and CRM (e.g., HubSpot/Salesforce) to build and maintain sophisticated nurture sequences, lead scoring models, and reliable lead-to-Sales hand-off processes.
- ABM Implementation: Lead the implementation and execution of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies tailored to target the high-value Retail Media and Marketplace accounts critical for Topsort.
- Content Activation: Work with Product Marketing to ensure our content is strategically utilized and distributed through demand channels for maximum conversion.
Alignment, Data & Growth Leadership
- GTM Partnership: Work in lockstep with the Product Marketing Manager to ensure all campaign messaging deeply reflects the value proposition of our infrastructure platform.
- Resourceful Optimization: Own the marketing budget, prioritizing investment based on proven ROI and demonstrating resourcefulness in scaling the engine efficiently.
- Data-Driven Accountability: Establish and own the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the entire demand engine, focusing on Pipeline Quality and Revenue Attribution.
- Sales Enablement Integration: Implement processes and data exchange that directly optimize the conversion effectiveness of the Sales Development and Account Executive teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in Demand Generation or Growth Marketing, with a proven history of driving B2B pipeline.
- Execution Focus: Demonstrated history of being a Lead Doer: personally building and launching complex campaigns and managing Marketing Automation platforms.
- Technical Stack: Highly proficient and hands-on with Marketing Automation (HubSpot/Marketo/SFMC) and CRM (Salesforce). Expert understanding of data flow and lead management.
- Analytical Rigor: Deep expertise in full-funnel attribution, A/B Testing, and statistical analysis to rapidly iterate and optimize performance.
- High-Growth/Builder Background: Proven track record of building or scaling the Demand Generation function from scratch in a high-growth startup environment is highly valued and can compensate for less specific sector experience.
- Sector Knowledge (Strong Plus): Experience in AdTech, Retail Media, or Enterprise B2B Infrastructure SaaS is a significant advantage.
- Adaptability & Resourcefulness: Thrives in a fast-moving, multi-hat environment with limited resources and possesses the humility and flexibility required to execute operational tasks while defining strategy.
