Manager of Learning & Development
Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Manager of Learning and Development to build and lead a high-impact learning strategy that supports business growth and employee development. This role is pivotal in identifying developmental opportunities, designing scalable learning programs, and implementing tools that drive performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching, mentoring, and teaching, along with extensive experience managing learning management systems—specifically Litmos. As a key member of our People team, the Manager of Learning & Development will play a strategic role in shaping how we grow talent across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to build L&D programs from the ground up and directly influence company culture, engagement, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a company-wide learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Build and lead a scalable L&D function from the ground up, including systems, processes, and metrics.
- Design and deliver training programs focused on leadership, professional skills, and compliance.
- Partner with department heads to identify team-specific development needs.
- Create career development frameworks and learning pathways.
- Lead coaching and mentoring programs for emerging leaders and high-potential employees.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions with a focus on skill enhancement and performance improvement.
- Administer and optimize learning management software, ensuring user engagement, content quality, and reporting accuracy.
- Manage content creation, tracking, and compliance within the platform.
- Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs.
- Continuously improve programs based on feedback and business needs.
Required Qualifications and Key Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and facilitating training sessions at various organizational levels.
- Expertise in Litmos LMS—including administration, content management, and reporting.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- PCC certification and CCL certification
- Gallup Global Strengths Coach or related experience with VIA character strengths.
- Familiarity with e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate).
- Basic understanding of Google Suites - Include Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Forms.

New Hire Base Salary Range
- $110,000-$120,000
- Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
- The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
