RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate work plans, NCR’s (non-compliance reports), operations of production.
- Manage calibration and certification records of tools, MGSE and EGSE.
- Provide technical and engineering assistance to team of technicians.
- Complete process improvements to increase efficiency of production.
- Manage test equipment such as TVAC, Vibe, thermal chambers.
- Prepare and review procurement and process documentation for production processes.
- Create spacecraft assembly kits for rapid production.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical engineering or related field and 1 year of experience with production of complex hardware, preferably space hardware.
- Experience with PLM, MES, configuration and data management controls and systems.
- Experience working to AS9100 process and standards.
- Experience with space productions and complex assembly engineering.
- Experience building and producing classified hardware in SCIF’s or SAP facilities.
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $65,000-$90,000
- Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work Location—this role will be an onsite position based out of our Gravity Works office in Denver.
- Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.
- Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.
