Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our LLM Data Services Business Unit. The Program Manager will be responsible for driving key initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact projects. This role will focus on two primary goals:

  • Goal 1: Enhancing Data Quality and Availability
    • Ensure the availability of high-quality, diverse data sets to support the training and optimization of large language models.
    • Implement best practices for data collection, annotation, and validation to maintain data integrity and relevance.
    • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify data needs and develop strategies to meet those needs effectively.
  • Goal 2: Driving Operational Excellence
    • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.
    • Develop and implement scalable processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity within the business unit.
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven working experience in project management, with a focus on data services or machine learning projects.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Experience with agile methodologies is preferred.
