As a Senior Product Manager for Uber Freight TMS you will own growing, scaling and providing a delightful self-service experience for shippers of all sizes. You will architect and manage the foundational framework that enables our TMS to flexibly adapt to the evolving needs and complexities of each customer. This role is critical in ensuring that configuration strategies are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with both product capabilities and customer expectations.  You will be influencing a team of accomplished data scientists and product designers, engineers that build at Uber scale, and industry-leading logistics operators to shape the future of how goods are moved across the country and world. 

Join Uber Freight's Product team as a Senior Product Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Freight TMS products. You’ll focus on iterating and deploying impactful products that provide real value to TMS users and drive sustainable growth and profitability for the business.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Define a clear product vision and strategy for the team, identifying both short-term and long-term initiatives to create an effective product roadmap.
  • User-Centric Approach: Translate user needs into product requirements by deeply understanding user problems and business opportunities - formulating hypotheses, and articulating desired outcomes.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate product plans, tradeoffs, and results to a diverse audience, including internal partner teams, executives, end-users, and external customers.
  • Innovation: Lead the development, launch, and adoption of innovative features and experiences within Uber Freight's TMS solution.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Collaborate with a world-class team of engineers, designers, data scientists, and user researchers, setting clear team deliverables, defining the roadmap, and driving execution.
  • Cultivate Team Culture: Build and nurture a strong team culture centered around collaboration, execution, and delivering results.
  • Drive Success: Define and track key performance indicators using data to iterate and deliver improvement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Develop and execute strategies that enhance self-service capabilities, accelerating time-to-value and reducing operational costs
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and monitor internal metrics to inform product decisions
  • Obsess in the data and details of defects identified by users, operations teams, and intuition
  • Conduct testing and experimentation to validate user experience enhancements
  • Ensure the higher ROI opportunities are prioritized by collaborating with engineering, design
  • Uphold consistent communications with executive leaders to enforce strategy and impact quantification

 Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience developing and deploying world-class products that scale
  • Proven success building self-service or configuration-heavy products
  • Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, from ideation to execution and iteration
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc
  • Stellar product instincts with ability to translate insights into actionable product strategies
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable mining and using data to inform decisions
  • Passion for technology, logistics, and building customer-centric products
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, computer science, engineering or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the logistics and freight industry is a plus
  • Experience designing a user driven permissions and management structure for SaaS or complex enterprise application
  • Curiosity for AI advancements and knowledge of how to deploy them
  • Background in building platforms or frameworks used by other product teams
