Receptionist
About the Role
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and callers, helping create a welcoming and professional experience for everyone who interacts with our Rogers location. This role plays an important part in supporting daily office operations while ensuring visitor and safety protocols are consistently followed to maintain a safe and organized workplace.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and building foundational administrative experience. This role will be in office Monday - Friday.
What You’ll Do
- Greet all guests and callers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression
- Answer and route incoming calls to the appropriate team members
- Support a high level of internal customer service by responding to requests in a timely and helpful manner
- Assist with shipping and receiving for the Rogers Center of Excellence, including signing for deliveries (USPS, FedEx, UPS, and special deliveries such as checks)
- Perform general administrative and office support tasks
- Complete basic data entry and document scanning
- Help maintain an organized and efficient front office environment
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 0–2 years of experience in an office, receptionist, or customer service role (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
- Strong customer service mindset with a professional and courteous demeanor
- Attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Good time management skills and reliability
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
