Anywhere in the United States

Unanet is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help bring our GovCon ERP solutions to market. You’ll translate complex technology into compelling customer value, develop differentiated positioning and messaging, lead go-to-market initiatives, and equip customer-facing teams to communicate our solutions effectively.

You’ll partner across Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to understand customer needs, strengthen our competitive position, and drive product awareness and adoption. We’re looking for a curious, customer-focused marketer who embraces AI to improve research, content development, and business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop Market Insights: Research customer needs, industry trends, and competitors to identify opportunities for differentiation and inform go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive Positioning and Messaging: Translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions tailored to buyers and users across finance, accounting, project management, and operations.
  • Lead Go-to-Market Initiatives: Partner with Product Management to plan and execute launches, releases, and enhancements, aligning cross-functional teams around messaging, deliverables, and success measures.
  • Enable Sales and Customer-Facing Teams: Develop sales presentations, solution briefs, competitive battlecards, FAQs, and other resources that help teams communicate product value and address buyer objections.
  • Champion AI-Enabled Marketing: Use AI tools and workflows to accelerate research, uncover insights, develop content, and improve efficiency while validating outputs and protecting confidential information.

Your First 90 Days

  • First 30 Days: Learn Unanet’s GovCon ERP portfolio, customer personas, competitive landscape, and go-to-market processes while building relationships across Product Management, Sales, and Marketing.
  • First 60 Days: Contribute to product positioning, competitive insights, and messaging while identifying opportunities to improve marketing workflows through AI.
  • First 90 Days: Take ownership of a defined product marketing initiative, contribute to a launch or go-to-market plan, and deliver actionable messaging or enablement resources.

Who You Are

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, or a related marketing role, ideally in B2B FinTech, accounting SaaS, ERP, or government contracting.
  • You have experience developing product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and marketing content for business audiences.
  • You are AI-fluent, with practical experience using generative AI to improve research, analysis, content creation, or productivity.
  • You are a strong communicator who can simplify complex concepts and connect product capabilities to meaningful business outcomes.
  • You are analytical and customer-focused, with the ability to turn research, data, and customer feedback into actionable recommendations.
  • You collaborate effectively across teams, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative in learning new products and industries.

Your Differentiators

  • Experience marketing ERP, accounting, financial management, or professional services automation software.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Unanet, Deltek Costpoint, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Understanding of government contracting financial workflows, including project accounting, timekeeping, indirect rates, resource planning, contract management, and compliance.

Our Values

  • We are a Team. Employees, customers, and partners working together.
  • We are Customer-Focused. Customers are the heart of everything we do.
  • We are Driven. Seeking exceptional outcomes.
  • We Own our Success. Every employee has a stake in our company.
  • We do the right thing and have fun in the process.
